1. Have you ever noticed why Indian trains are colored with blue color?


Before 1990, all trains have a vacuum braking system. Post-1990, an advanced Air braking system was introduced. After that invention, it was difficult to differentiate between a vacuum and an advanced braking system. So trains having a vacuum braking system were being colored with red and trains having an air braking system colored with blue color.
If you're thinking, why Rajdhani and Shatabdi are not colored like this? Because these and other trains are special that's why they are colored with different colors.

2. Before starting any film you must have seen the certificate with different signs on it.


If the film is awarded "अव/UA" certificate, it means that children under 12 years of age can watch this film under the direction of parents.


If the film has got the "व/A" certificate, then it does mean that the film is not suitable for people under 18 years of age.


The film which gets an "S" certificate means only Doctors and Scientists can see this.

3. Have you ever noticed the numbers written on every cylinder?


Actually, these numbers indicate the date of the physical test of any cylinder. That is, a cylinder gets damaged due to overuse, which makes it mandatory to test it.
Each latter denotes a quarter of a year followed by a number that denotes the year.
A => January - March
B => April - June
C => July - September
D =>  October - December

For example, in the above picture, there is a number "B13" which denotes that the cylinder expired in April-June 2013.

4. Did you know the meaning of these four dots at the bottom of the newspaper?


These dots are printed in CMYK sequence:
C: Cyan
M: Magenta
Y: Yellow
K: Black
In short, these dots tell if the pictures printed in the newspaper are clear or not. During printing, if these dots don't come in the same line then it means pictures in the newspaper are not clear. It's blurry.
It is done to check if newspapers printed are not blurry as it is not possible to check all newspapers by looking at whole pages of the newspaper.

5. Why do Liquid-carrying trucks have cylindrical tankers?


A rectangle/square has corners, which creates weak points for pressure. When carrying liquids under pressure, the pressure acting at a corner is much more. Hence, a rectangle-shaped container would fail faster upon experiencing a great deal of pressure.
While cylinders don't have corners and also cylindrical tankers offer a low center of gravity, which is good news for the stability of the truck.

6. What are those papers attached to the uniform of fighter pilots?


Fighter jet cockpits are restricted by space and this little tool comes in handy by letting the pilot use their legs as a mobile table to arrange their paperwork.
The left leg is reserved for the aircraft checklist. The right leg is reserved for mission briefing, navigation logs, and empty papers.

7. You must have noticed many times that random numbers are often seen on your TV screen which really irritating. What are these numbers?


The unique number that randomly appears on the TV, is different for different TVs. These numbers are part of anti-piracy measures taken by channels and media companies. So if someone tries to record the TV shows with either a camera or a screen recording device, then the 'random number' will be a part of the copy.
Using this number, the media company can then track down the place of recording and find the people responsible for the pirated content.

8. You must have seen these black lines on 200, 500, and 2000 INR notes. These lines are only for designs or they have some meanings?


These lines are not just for design. It serves a very useful purpose. They made for visually impaired people. So that the blind people can check whether the note is real or fake. And which currency note it is. They can also detect that by touching those lines.
The 2000 note has 7 lines on both ends which can be detected by touch.


On a 500 note, 5-5 lines are formed on both ends which can be detected by touch.


There are 6 lines on each and of the 200 notes which can be detected by touch.
